Kathy Grant
Tournament Director
kgrant@nfjg.org |
Kathy has been the Tournament Director for the North Florida Junior Golf Foundation since 2005 and previously served as a Rules Official beginning in 1995. Kathy is a Class A LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Member and is also an Assistant Golf Professional at Deercreek Country Club.
Kathy was born and raised in Tampa, FL where she began playing golf as a sophmore at Chamberlain High School. She walked on as a Freshman at Florida State University where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Physical Education. She earned a Full Scholarship by her senior year and her only college win was the Metro Conference, her last college tournament (1990). After graduation Kathy moved to Jacksonville, turned professional and played one season on the Future's Tour. In 2001 she attempted LPGA Qualifying School, barely missing by a large margin. Kathy believes she has found her niche in Junior Golf because she knows what it takes to play competitive golf and that programs like the North Florida Junior Golf Foundation not only helps to build a golf game, but also the character necessary to succeed in life.

Dan Bush
Tournament Official
dbush@nfjg.org |
Dan was born in Minneapolis, Mn. Active in all sports, Dan finally found his true love in Golf where he was All-Conference in his senior year in High School (the only year he played on the golf team). After a year at the University of MN, he then attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI, where he played and lettered on the golf team. Dan then decided that his passion for service would be best suited in the restaurant industry and moved to Florida where he became General Manager for Bennigan’s in Tampa. He finally decided that his two passions, golf and service, is the natural combination of a PGA Professional and is now enrolled in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program. Excited about the opportunity to work with NFJG, he plans on relying on an old phrase, “the best way to learn is to teach.” Dan is currently an Assistant Golf Professional at Marsh Creek Country Club. |
